Our Story.
The Adventures of Noko Mashaba was voted the Best Online Content at the South African Film and Television Awards in 2021. Noko is a popular village boy from Limpopo in South Africa who navigates the challenges of life through satire. He lives with his uncle, affectionately known as Malome Dons. In the cartoon series (The Adventures of Noko Mashaba), Noko and Dons try to get ahead in life, often finding themselves in compromising situations, as they confront societal norms, demands from friends and relatives and adapting to the ever-changing world of technology. The two’s constant need to cheat their way to the top often lands them in trouble, leaving them with one question, what does it really take to be successful?
In Limpopo, life is a little dull, but Noko wants more, much more. Noko has ambitions of stardom and travelling the world, but he doesn’t know where to begin. He documents his adventures on his YouTube channel (The Adventures of Noko Mashaba). Many years have passed since Noko became a household name; millions of his fans have inundated him with a call: “When is Noko going to be on mainstream TV?”.
So, Malome Dons takes him to a Sangoma (Shaman) to ask for guidance and find out why Noko’s light is not shining as bright as it should. Through the help of the shaman, Noko finds out he has a calling to heed. Noko’s ancestors unveil a way for him to share his talent with his fans. The ancestors have gifted Noko with his Noko Fan Tickets (NFTs) that are to be shared with his fans who will support him to become a Global Icon.

THE NOKO FAN TICKET (NFT)
The Noko Fan Ticket (NFT), the first of the MASHABAS NFT Collection, combines Noko’s character with traditional couture from Africa and other parts of the world. This NFT project will be the launchpad for the world’s first animated series and related merchandise to be built by its fans and community through an NFT offering.
It is South Africa's first and largest Animation NFT project. The collection is based on the award winning and popular cartoon series, “The Adventures of Noko Mashaba” that was created by Jonas Lekganyane.
The Noko NFT Collection consists of 10,000 unique Noko NFTs, with Noko wearing beautiful garments and accessories from the African continent and around the world.

Our Road Map
Noko and Dons are hitting the open road to follow Noko’s Calling, gaining support from their fans, old and new, by selling their Noko Fan Tickets (NFT) in the dream of bringing the Noko series to the big and little screens. Our journey (Roadmap) has some interesting stops along the way and will present both rewards and utility to Noko’s Fans (Community).
THE DIGITAL RONDAVEL (METAVERSE HUT)
A Rondavel (Hut) has traditionally been made out of sand, stone and cow dung and was used as living areas and animal pens. But now it’s a place where things go down, and what goes in never comes out the same.....Noko stepped into a rondavel to see a Sangoma (Shaman) and was gifted Noko Fan Tickets (NFTs) by his ancestors to help him fulfil his calling.
The world is talking metaverse this, and metaverse that....but we have had our own version of the “Metaverse” for decades, the Rondavel…A place where crazy sh** happens.
